Patrice Johnson is the founder and Certified Empowerment Officer (CEmO) of The Core Momentum, a leadership and life coaching organization created to educate and to empower professionals to reinvent their lifestyle by making the best choices to restore balance between their personal and professional life.. With a successful 10 year track record as a experienced Human Resources professional in the manufacturing and corporate sector, Patrice has been consistently recognized as true advisor, confidant that has inspired many leaders and employees at all levels to achieve personal excellence. Following an accomplished career path in human resources, Patrice chose to pursue her passion for coaching and blaze a new pathway to reinvent her personal and professional identity. The direction of Patrice’s life was drastically changed forever in early 2007 due to a serious health related wake up call that really presented her with two options following my recovery—to live or to die. As a result, Patrice chose life and took immediate action to make many life sustaining changes. In 2008, Patrice made the conscious decision to become the leader of her life by being at the cause of her life, and no longer at the effect of it. As a coach, her love for listening and partnering with others to work through personal and professional challenges is what truly energizes Patrice. Her innate talent as a coach allows her to do what I do best -- help people “get out of their own way” and experience the life and fulfillment at the optimal state desired. You will quickly realize how well she can relate to working through the personal and professional crossroad challenges when you’re “sick and tired of being sick and/or tired.” Patrice received her Masters degree in Human Resources Management from the School of Management and Labor Relations at Rutgers University of New Jersey, and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Mass Media also from Rutgers University. She continues to be active in Society for Human Resources Management, The International Coaching Federation, the New Jersey Coaches Association and the National Association for Professional Women. |

What I admire the most about Patrice's coaching skills is her fearlessness. She's not afraid to ask the kinds of questions that could very well result in a less-than-cordial response from me, however they are the questions that need to be asked. Her fearlessness in pushing hard to get at the core of an issue, her constant reframing to keep me conscious of my stated goals and desires, and her ability to 'hold up a mirror' to me are all qualities that I admire and respect.
