 I have had 14 years of experience developing the coping skills necessary for successful managment of my own Type 1 Diabetes. Beside that I have a Master's Degree in Psychology and work as a Weight Watchers meeting leader. This experience makes me effective in dealing with weight loss issues.
Diabetes management is often improved by adjusting one's attitude, by having fun while being adherent to a medical regime, by goal setting, and engaging in medically approved exercise. I work with groups and/or individuals.
COACHING EXPERTISE:
My overall coaching experience spans 24 years in corporate and small business environments and currently, and in the field of weight loss. I have excellent knowledge of group dynamics and have coached team members during my tenure as Supervisor at a major corporation. During my years as an owner/operator of a recruiting firm, I coached my candidates on many career and life challenges.
