 I am a professional coach, consultant, and motivational teacher/speaker. I work with individuals and organizational leaders to identify and implement the strategies needed to successfully address circumstances that are changing, difficult, unexpected, confusing or complex. Like the name Life Work Coaching, the practice focuses on Life and Work – the personal and professional aspects of our lives.

My coaching practice is strategy based. We all seem to have a personal set of rules or guiding principles that we live our lives by. These are what I call our personal strategies. I have mine and you have yours. Our personal strategies influence our actions, behaviors and choices in everything we do personally, professionally and relationally. They are ingrained, automatic responses and a seemingly unconscious “choices”. They have been at work in our lives for a long time.

Even though our strategies generally work (we are able to live the lives we want both personally and professionally) for most of us, they fail at some point.

My practice helps people and organizational leaders adopt new strategies; ones that can help them achieve their personal and professional goals.My professional expereince spans 30 years and includes: a variety of senior leadership and management positions in for-profit and non-profit organizations; volunteer work as a court appointed special advocate for abused and neglected children; entrepreneur; counselor; adjunct college professor, community of faith leader, and father of four. I received my degree in Organizational Behavior and Management from Brown University in 1982.

I am passionate about helping people. I believe that we are here to live a life of meaning, inspired by hopes and dreams, and acted out with intent.

I believe that all of us have the capacity to intentionally change, and that we can live the lives we want.
