“Each moment describes who you are and gives you the opportunity to decide if that's who you want to be.” Katalyst Coaching is an interactive coaching practice drawing in and helping clients to see their full potential, and how to use the resources they have, to create a fulfilling and inspired life. The mere presence of a horse, standing in front of you, compels you to be in the moment, and observe the horse as he looks back at you. Your mind may wander, as your eyes move over the rippling muscles and soft coat of his chest, shoulders, and back, as memories flash into your mind- maybe your memory, or maybe someone else's story. These thoughts are connected to emotions, be it love, joy, sadness, or fear. When you come back to the moment from this emotionally charged trip back to the past, you see the horse – still – standing in his full presence, observing your energy patterns and perhaps nudging you for a treat. From this moment forward, there is no narrative for what will happen next, as it is your journey that will tell that story. I am simply the guide on the side, as the horses(s) take the reins and show you what they've seen, honestly and without judgment~ suspending all apprehension or fear. And whether it be a flighting gallop, walking away, or anything in between, the message is clear, and it is for you. This is where the coaching comes in. We debrief your interpretation of the message, there is no right or wrong and it could be anything from a pat on the back, a display of your actions at home or work that you may have overlooked, or a trait or characteristic of your personality that may be holding you back from your full potential, something that you may not even know exists~ it could be anything! Your agenda then becomes the key: if you want to identify the source or move into action, we will go there with the support of the horses and more interactive exercises. |

WHAT CAN I SAY? I HAD A COACHING SESSION WITH EMILY AND TWO OF HER HORSES. IN ONE HOUR THOSE HORSES TAUGHT ME MORE ABOUT MYSELF THAN ANY PERSON/COUNSEL HAS EVER DONE. WITH THE SUPERB GUIDANCE OF EMILY. I WAS ABLE TO FACE A FEW SITUATIONS AND DEAL WITH THEM IN A MUCH MORE EFFECTIVE WAY THAN BEFORE.
