REMEMBERING….. The beginning of Michelle's search for inner purpose and spiritual awareness began at the early age of 19. After a severe case of mercury poisoning and a losing battle with bulimia, caused by total identification of self through what others thought of her and an unbending need to control her circumstances, Michelle was brought to an emotional breaking point. At her lowest point, Michelle made a conscious decision that she was no longer willing to live this hollow shell of a life. She made an agreement with her herself that day to do everything she could to reawaken that joyful, powerful being that she knew was inside her. Through that realization, her most difficult moment became the beginning of a spiritual awakening that has blossomed ever since. LEARNING…. Over the next 10 years Michelle extensively researched the subjects of spiritual growth, inner awareness, and personal empowerment. She veraciously studied and implemented the works of Wayne Dyer, Eckart Tolle, Neale Donald Walsh, Abraham-Hicks, Cheryl Richardson, Byron Katie and many more awakened teachers into her life. A natural teacher, leader, and speaker, Michelle found her true calling in life coaching. After rigorous training through the Institute for Professional Empowerment Coaching (iPEC), a world renowned coaching program, Michelle became a Certified Empowerment Coach (CEC) and soon became the Team Leader for iPEC's Ambassadors for Life Potential Program. She is also accredited as an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) with the International Coaching Federation (ICF), dedicated to preserving the integrity of coaching. HELPING OTHERS REMEMBER…. As owner of Expanding Joy Coaching, Michelle uses her background in education, her expertise in the Law of Attraction and personal empowerment, her toolbox of practical coaching skills, and calming energy and patience to help clients break away from the unhealthy thought patterns that hold them back from their greatness. Michelle has helped countless numbers of clients and workshop participants break the same cycle she struggled with in youth allowing them to create AND consistently live the life they truly desire. In addition to individual coaching, Michelle runs interactive workshops, classes, retreats, trainings and offers her expertise in her "Ask Coach Michelle" Blog. Her personal, real-world experience with the Law of Attraction and personal transformation is featured in the fascinating documentary, The Truth About Us. LIVING JOYFULLY…. Michelle works, lives, plays, and learns in Hockessin, DE just south of Philadelphia, PA. She is grateful every day of the wonderful life she is continually creating and finds so much joy in helping others do the same. |
