Dominic Kayatta is a Training and Development Professional, Career Management Coach and Consultant with extensive experience in the delivery of customized career development and transition programs servicing a broad spectrum of markets, including the financial, health care and social services industries. His client base during his career with several organizations spans a diversified roster where he has provided executive coaching as well as career management and developmental education to professional, exempt and non-exempt employees. Dominic has implemented and enhanced many career development tools and systems to better align individual efforts with organizational goals and objectives. Dominic has directed the efforts of all recognition and mentoring services for an international finance department that encompassed 5 countries. Currently, Dominic is Manager for Patient Relations of Christiana Care Health System with main responsibilities of overseeing the grievance management process for the organization. He partners closely with Service Excellence to proactively address areas of service recovery to enhance the patient experience. He provides a host of resources to empower staff to resolve issues at the bedside as well as assist leadership with strategic initiatives to create meaningful opportunities for staff to provide excellent care. Previously, Dominic has led efforts for the Christiana Care Health System in two areas: Diversity/Inclusion and On-boarding. He was instrumental in developing a strategy that will enable Christian Care to provide culturally competent care while contributing to the creation of an inclusive workplace for staff. As part of his on-boarding efforts, he assisted managers in creating engaged teams to maximize productivity while developing future leadership for the organization. Prior to Christiana Care, Dominic served as a consultant for two organizations, ModernThink, LLC and Right Management Consultants. As a best workplace consultant, he analyzed and presented results from organizational assessments and surveys measuring workplace satisfaction and assists organizations in aligning professional development and performance with organizational goals. As a career management consultant, Dominic coached individuals in career transition through one-on-one and group facilitation. Dominic also has experience in the for-profit world as an education manager with MBNA America Bank, N. A. (now Bank of America). Dominic also has an extensive and progressive background in the mental health and higher education fields serving in a variety of director roles with special expertise in staff /organizational development. Such organizations include Upper Bay Counseling and Support Services, Inc. located in Maryland as well as the University of Delaware and York College of Pennsylvania. He is a graduate of Shippensburg University with a Masters of Science as well as a Bachelors of Science from Mount Saint Mary’s University. Dominic is actively involved with such organizations as Junior Achievement, Habitat for Humanity as well as many local mentoring programs. He is a Certified Professional Coach. |
