As in internationally certified life coach through the International Coaching Federation (ICF), I specialize in guiding people to Life Mastery. I am passionate about helping individuals and organizations achieve their goals and realize their fullest potential. I grew up in the Netherlands where I attended university and developed a deep interest in personal achievement and development. I completed my life coaching training with IPEC/ICF in the U.S. where I now live and work. My European background brings a wealth of life balance knowledge to my American clients. My American experiences offer European clients an innovative, creative awareness. With clients in the U.S. and Europe, I define goals, create visions, and optimize productive behavior with individuals from seven to 87-years-old. My clients are a diverse assortment of people - such as CEOs, entrepreneurs, home makers, retirees, artists, athletes, business people – who all have with one thing in common: a desire to live a happier and more balanced life. In addition to personal coaching, I develop and conduct corporate trainings and have successfully introduced coaching into various companies, including those in the financial, agricultural and entertainment industries. My approach centers on improving leadership effectiveness, teamwork, and communication skills through personal empowerment. Clients describe my style as "straightforward yet inspiring" and "creative and insightful." Prior to embarking on my coaching journey, I was a senior-level executive at a development and equity firm in the Netherlands, where I functioned as the CFO and day-to-day manager of numerous multimillion Euro spatial development projects. I co- founded a greenhouse development company and served as a political strategist in the Dutch Senate for the flower industry, where I developed excellent management and communication skills and established myself as a sought-after public speaker and negotiator. The Dutch are a people grounded in a collaboration and consensus. From an early age, I learned to listen to what people are saying and understand what their desired outcomes are. As a professional, I developed the skills of transforming wants into goals and developing actionable plans to get there. I also further honed my communication abilities so that people are comfortable and inspired to collaborate. These experiences uniquely formed who I am, and I bring that sensibility, along with my extensive training and experience, to my life coaching clients. Now, I live my true passion every day as I help people and organizations realize, and live, their fullest potential. |
